Datasaur is looking for an Account Executive to join our growing startup, dedicated to solving a core component of the AI/LLM development process. Our company is backed by Initialized Capital, YCombinator, and the President of OpenAI, and we are looking for a motivated and ambitious individual to help us take our business to the next level.
Requirements for an ideal candidate
5-8 years of experience in sales roles

Experience with selling complex technology: you have experience selling complex, technical solutions in a nascent market. You are comfortable explaining not only why a solution is important but can talk to an engineer or data scientist about how it works.

Strong communication skills: You pride yourself on clear and concise communication skills, both oral and written.

Highly organized and responsible: You will be responsible for managing your own sales funnel, including identifying leads, tracking sales progress, and closing deals. The ideal candidate has a highly tuned sense of responsibility and stays organized and on top of all tasks.

Persistence: Success in sales often requires persistence, and the ideal candidate is polite but persistent in their pursuit of new business.

Adaptability: Our business landscape is constantly evolving, and the ideal candidate excels at reading the room and adapting to new situations on the fly.

Bonus: Experience at a SaaS company or an AI-related vertical is a plus, but not required.
Job responsibilities

Lead generation: Identify and pursue potential sales leads for Datasaur, using a variety of tools and resources to locate and engage potential customers. You will be responsible for sourcing the vast majority of your own leads.

Pipeline management: Manage the entire sales process, including pitching our product to potential customers, negotiating contracts, and closing deals.

Customer relations: Maintain strong relationships with customers, ensuring satisfaction with our product and services, and identifying opportunities for upselling and cross-selling.

Base salary would be $125k-$175k, with $125k-175k commission at target. Commission is uncapped.
