Role Overview

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Outbound Account Executive to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of outbound closing experience, has a hunter and team-oriented mindset, and a proven track record of sourcing and converting leads into revenue while consistently exceeding sales quotas. This full cycle Outbound Account Executive will play a critical role in driving revenue growth by identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, nurturing prospect relationships, and delivering exceptional customer service.

Core Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the Head of Sales to build out a scalable outbound motion at Fathom from scratch. 
  • Identify and prospect potential clients through outbound lead generation efforts, including cold calling, email outreach, and social selling.
  • Using various sales methodologies, conduct thorough research to understand clients' needs, challenges, and pain points, and tailor solutions to meet their specific requirements.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting prospect relationships through regular communication and exceptional customer service.
  • Prepare and deliver persuasive sales presentations, proposals, and product demonstrations to showcase the value proposition of our solution.
  • Negotiate terms and conditions of contracts, close deals, and manage the entire sales cycle from prospecting to contract execution.
  • Hit and exceed monthly sales quotas. 
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams including Marketing, Customer Success, and Product Management to optimize lead generation strategies, enhance product offerings, and ensure new customer satisfaction.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years in an outbound closing role, preferably at a SaaS company (bonus if you have worked at a Product Lead Growth company).
  • Proven track record in targeting, sourcing, and converting leads into revenue. And, proven success in hitting and exceeding sales quotas. 
  • Must be located in the US or CAN.
