Delphia is a growing (37 people), multi-disciplinary team located in the heart of downtown Toronto and around major North American cities. We began in January 2018 and are graduates of Y Combinator and the Creative Destruction Lab. We’ve raised two rounds of funding and approximately $20 million to date.

About the role

Delphia is looking for an experienced full stack software developer who is curious about fin-tech and passionate about building quality systems.

Working as a full stack engineer, you will mostly be working in the backend, however you will operate in other parts of the stack when needed.

You will work inside a multi-disciplinary product team helping develop new features and APIs, go from idea to implementation, and take responsibility for the existing software and its evolution, all while maintaining high quality and performance bars.

We'd love to hear from you if :

• You are experienced at languages and frameworks such as Python, Django, React and SQL to build modern, scalable apps
• You're comfortable working on new and existing APIs to support our mobile app
• You have a high bar for the quality of your code. You take pride in it and you pay attention to what you commit
• You’re curious about the technologies you use and take initiative to dive in and figure things out when you have a question
• You have an opinion on things but are low on ego
• You have 1-3+ years of experience

Bonus Points

• You have a B.S. or M.S. degree in Computer Science
• You’re curious about mobile development and fintech
• You’ve worked with cross-functional teams
